“Teacher’s Day” is a day of celebrating the yeomen service done by teachers across the world.
In India, “Teacher’s Day” is celebrated on the 5th of September, to commemorate the birthday of our former president Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. There is also an International Teacher’s Day, which is celebrated every year on the 5th of October. This has been celebrated for nearly 25 years.
The point of the celebration is about acknowledging, evaluating, and enhancing “The Instructors of the World” and to consider the issues identified with educators and the teaching process in general.
The National Board of Education plays a seminal role in providing a platform for postgraduate medical education in the country. In this context, it is but natural that we recognize and honor the outstanding work of Teaching Institutions as well as Teachers. It behooves upon every single teaching faculty of the NBE to participate, encourage, and learn from all, during the celebration.
This year, as you are aware it is being held on the 22nd of September in Bangalore. We look forward to active participation from all of you
